Kennel Aussiemind is a FCI registrated kennel from December 2008. The kennel name stands for our passion and love to the Australian Shepherd as a true working dog! Our goal is to bring up breed typical Aussies with good health and stamina, enthusiastically working desire. They should be stable and safe in all environments and show gratifying cooperation to his owner.

We have few and well planned litters, we do not want frequent generations and we will only plan a combination if we have intentions to keep one offspring from the litter. We spend a lot of time studying pedigrees to get an impression of what types of abilities the dogs carry. To find the strength and weakness, collect information about health and temperament is important in our job. The dog’s whole expression is also important. These factors are measured up with each other when planning a combination.

The breeding individuals must not only complete each other but they should also give the same strength of abilities to produce good allround offspring’s that can perform over middle level in working, search and rescue, sports and herding as well as being a companion.
A great working ability, intelligence and endurance is much appreciated. The dogs that will be bred must also have the structure and character that through our eyes makes the Australian Shepherd to an totally special and wonderful breed. The Aussie should be reserved with strangers without being afraid or shy, he must let himself be handled, and be functional in the daily community as an environment strong dog to be a pleasure to live with.

We do our best to produce offspring’s with soundness, good health, functionality and high trainability. The breeding dogs must be healthy and strong and we have the best intentions for the breeds future. In our breeding we use several aid like DNA tests and mentally tests to also screen the individuals. We keep ourselves updated in the research going on and sources of information.
We do our best to get as much as possible information about the hidden diseases in every pedigree.

For the Aussie to be able to do his work in the best way without inhibitions he must have a functional body and healthy building. Longevity is also something that will be distinguished by this breed. This is also an important point in our breeding. 

Our puppies are born at home in safe environment. While they are growing up at our house they are well handled, cared for and used to different sounds in order to get the best start on their life. We place great emphasis on the right puppy to the right owner and the puppies are puppy tested before the new ownership is determined. Good contact with the puppubyers is preferd and appriciated. As the new owner of a puppy from us you must be prepared to give your puppy a safe and secure childhood, lots of positive training and further a good life as an Australian Shepherd can enjoy.

Our puppies come with FCI and ASCA registration. They are eye checked at the age of 7-8 weeks, microshipped, worm treated and vaccinated with health certificate not older than two weeks. They will also be insured. It will follow a binder with their parent’s health papers and other information, as well as photos and text from your puppy’s first time of life.
